How Bella Changed Everything

Carnevore Mountain began with a simple but important question: why is it so difficult to find truly high-quality food for our pets?

Bella, a beloved American Bulldog, was struggling with ongoing health issues. Despite trying conventional options, her condition continued to decline.

In 2020, Bella's family began working with holistic pet nutritionist Lucy Jabrayan, who developed a carefully balanced raw formulation tailored to her needs.

Carnevore Mountain recipes are developed in collaboration with holistic pet nutritionist Lucy Jabrayan of Thrive4Life Holistic Pet Foods.

Our philosophy is simple: dogs and cats thrive on real animal proteins, balanced organs, thoughtful whole-food ingredients, and formulations designed to support vitality over time.

Why this mission is personal

Better Nutrition Became Personal Long Before It Became a Business

For many pet parents, nutrition becomes important when something goes wrong. For us, that lesson was deeply personal.

Che, our beloved Havanese, struggled with ongoing digestive issues, including colitis.

Like many pet parents dealing with sensitivities, we went through a long process of trial, adjustment, and frustration.

Specialty diets offered temporary hope, but the problems kept returning.

That experience made one thing clear: when ingredient quality and formulation are not truly aligned with a pet's needs, confidence disappears fast.

Che's journey reinforced how difficult pet nutrition can be to navigate — especially when you are dealing with sensitivities, conflicting advice, and food that promises more than it delivers.

It also deepened our belief that pet parents deserve better transparency, better ingredients, and better standards.

When developing Carnevore Mountain, John applied the same standards used in human food production — selecting trusted farms, understanding supply chains, and refusing to compromise on quality.
